Beta’s Photograph of the Year 2012 competition was the ninth such event featuring a selection of journalistic photographs from the region of South East Europe, and for the second time presented in Ottawa. Competition attracted 125 authors from 13 countries, who submitted 518 photographs. The opening of the exhibition, that presented 72 photographs selected by the panel of judges, was on Wednesday, October 17, at the St. Brigid’s Centre for the Arts in Ottawa.
